Sysman link error when installing Oracle Database 11g ( on Amazon Web Services EC2 Red Hat


We downloaded and installed the following Oracle Database 11g ( 64-bit on a newly created Amazon Web Services EC2 instances (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.1).

These are the installation files:


Upon installation, the OUI gave an error relating to sysman during the linking process.

The error in the OraInventory (/u01/app/oraInventory/logs/installActions2015-06-10_09-52-46AM.log) log file was:
