Default targeting with WebLogic subdeployments

Problem

When we tried to change the subdeployment of a JMS destination, we received the following error:

The following failures occurred: -- [JMSExceptions:045110]The JMS resource named "MyJMSQueue" has incorrect targeting information. This resource has both default-targeting-enabled attribute set to true and has a valid sub-deployment-name value specified.

Errors must be corrected before proceeding.

Solution

1. Navigate to the 'Configuration' tab of the JMS destination.

2. Uncheck 'Default Targeting Enabled'.

Oracle WebLogic Server 11g
